Narrowing down the best peptides for a bodybuilder is quite hard. See, there are several different peptides, all designed to do something different.

For tense and purposes, we are going to focus on those that help with weight gain, weight loss, Growth Hormone secretagogues, and those that have anti aging properties.

This is what most bodybuilders actually use. They will not increase muscle protein synthesis as much as Steroids or SARMs would, but IGF-1 (Insulin Like Growth Factor) is still quite strong.

Increasing the natural production of IGF-1 can lead to some pretty insane results if used correctly.

AOD 9604 on the other hand is a modified version of those same amino acids (176-191), granting AOD the ability to manage injuries by increasing red blood cells and decreasing inflammation.

Peptides seem hard to understand, but they aren’t. Peptides are simply Amino Acids that are bound together with Peptide bonds – hence the name. We do find them naturally in nature, such as Creatine or Collagen.

The Peptides for Bodybuilding are not always found in the way we use them. They can be used to offset a Growth Hormone deficiency, increase lean body mass, lower fat mass, improve metabolic health, and so much more.

Most Peptides will have something to do with Growth Hormone, either being a Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide, or just one of the Growth Hormones.

This is because we naturally produce Growth Hormone, which will lead to muscle growth, fat loss, etc. Exogenous Growth is known as Peptide Therapy by HRT clinics, but can be used by athletes to overshoot the body’s production of Growth Hormone GH.

How Do Peptides Work?

Most Peptides will work by increasing IGF-1 or Insulin Like Growth Factor levels in the body. Usually, the Pituitary gland would produce Growth Hormone, resulting in IGF-1 being produced from the liver.

IGF-1 has been linked to improved muscle mass (slightly), improved body composition, better hair, better skin, and various other health benefits [5]. Peptides that will increase IGF-1 are pure HGH & IGF-1, Growth Hormone Secretagogues, etc.
