There are currently only two versions of BPC-157 available, oral (tablets) and injectable (also, nasal is a thing, but more on that later…). 

The injectable version will have to be injected SUBQ or IM. 

We will be comparing these two against one another, but before we do, there is one thing we have to take note of: There are not a lot of studies comparing one against the other. So, we will do the best we can with the information we have available.

Dose Quality of BPC 157 Tablet Vs Injection

Firstly, yes, BPC-157 is orally available and bioavailable. A 2009 study looking at dosing rats with oral BPC-157 found that the effectiveness of the peptide therapy was certainly present and that positive effectiveness was present. 

Keep in mind that humans are not rats. While not really used in the medical world anymore, there is evidence that topical BPC 157 does in fact work. 

However, the effectiveness of a topical cream is brought into question due to things like sweat and rubbing off on clothes, etc. And, to round things off, injectable BPC 157 has been proven to work numerous times.

This great study was designed to look at the effectiveness of BPC-157 on things like Behavioral Disorders, Brain Lesions, and Spinal Cord Injury. The conclusion they came to is that when looking at the mental benefits, oral administration wins. When looking at muscle benefits or wound healing, injectable seems to be favorable

And this is in line with how athletes would use BPC-157: Athletes would often either inject the compound directly at the site if it was a massive acute injury such as a torn muscle or inject it SUBQ for general pain relief.

Cost Comparison of BPC 157 Tablets Vs Injection

When it comes to costs, cheaper will trump – obviously. Again, taking the correct type is really important (see above). Let’s compare some costs:
