AOD 9604

AOD 9604 is a modified growth hormone that was developed in the 1990s and is typically used in metabolic research. Its major health benefits include increased metabolic rate and enhanced lipolysis. Most research has examined its ability to stimulate the pituitary gland in test subjects and record how quickly it can lead to fat loss or whether or not its administration results in significant fat loss.

To date, different studies conducted in mice, rats, and human subjects have shown that it leads to a significant reduction in body weight and excess fat as well as improvements in cholesterol profiles and glucose tolerance levels. What’s more, AOD 9604 holds major promise as an alternative to growth hormone as it mimics the natural hGH that regulates body fat without the unwanted side effects on blood sugar and insulin levels.

Most studies administer 250-500 μg/kg·d of AOD 9604 to mice or rats for 14-20 days, whereas human subjects are typically administered 300 mcg per day for no more than 2o days.

BPC-157

BPC-157 is an amino acid fragment (15 amino acids to be exact) isolated from gastric juice that’s typically used for healing wounds and mitigating bowel disorders. Most research has examined its effectiveness in stimulating cell proliferation via binding with growth hormone receptors. This process generally results in angiogenesis which enhances the rate of wound healing.

Research has shown that mice and rats who are administered BPC-157 typically exhibit higher numbers of collagen, reticulin, and blood vessel development compared to controls. Other studies have examined the angiogenic potential of this peptide with respect to not only local wounds but also major organs like the pancreas, liver, and heart.

Typically, animals such as mice, rats, and rabbits are administered a dosage of 6 to 50 μg/kg per day of BPC-157 for a period of 7-14 days. Human subjects, on the other hand, are typically administered 200-300 µg per day for 2-4 weeks.
