Finasteride FIN
An FDA-approved medication for male pattern hair loss and enlarged prostate, working by blocking a hormone that shrinks hair follicles. Human trials confirm it regrows hair and helps the prostate, but it also carries a well-documented, sometimes lasting risk of sexual and mood side effects in some users, even after stopping.
