Mechanism of Action

GHRP-2 is a synthetic peptide which acts like growth hormone-releasing hormone and triggers the secretion of growth hormone from the anterior pituitary gland. It also inhibits the release of somatostatin, which acts as a growth hormone-inhibiting hormone. Besides, GHRP-2 also regulates ghrelin release which is also called 'hunger hormone'.
