Mechanism of Action
Thymosin Alpha-1 mediates immunological processes and supports the immune system of the body. It does so by amplifying T-cell maturation and by activating natural killer cells. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory substance by regulating the activity of tumor-necrosis factor and IL-B. It may also help the body in handling oxidative stress by acting upon superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase.
