Our brand-new Muscle + Brawn Community is now open… and it’s 100% FREE.

Two weeks ago we asked what the best platform for our new community and Facebook came in the lead with 50% of the votes.

So we’ve created a private community where you can meet fellow fitness enthusiasts, ask questions, share your advice, and interact with our seasoned coaches.

Our mission? Create a community of like-minded individuals, passionate about optimizing their health through training, nutrition, TRT, peptides, SARMS, and much more.

Finally, our community won’t cost you a penny, unlike other experts who charge you an arm and a leg to join their groups.

Click here to join, answer a few questions, and our moderators will approve your membership as soon as possible.

We’ll be doing weekly Q&As, posting the newsletter and sharing our new articles there on all things biohacking.

 💉 Peptide Spotlight: Tirzepatide

Each week, we’re highlighting different peptides you may not have heard much about… and this week, we’re going to take a closer look at Tirzepatide, sold under the brand name Mounjaro.

You’ve probably heard about Semaglutide by now, the GLP-1 receptor agonist that’s taking the world by storm as a powerful weight loss drug.

Well, Tirzepatide is essentially “extra-strength Semaglutide.”

In other words, while Semaglutide is still the latest weight loss trend, we’ve already found something that works even better.

Originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes, Tirzepatide has shown promising results in human studies for improving glycemic control and promoting significant weight loss, exceeding the efficacy of other GLP-1 receptor agonists currently available.

Like Semaglutide, Tirzepatide is not without side effects, and users may experience gastrointestinal side effects in the beginning stages.

It’s been approved by the FDA to treat type 2 diabetes, though anyone with significant weight loss goals may also benefit. As always, speak to your doctor before using any peptides for weight management.

Last Week’s Results

Last we asked: Are you comfortable speaking with your doctor about peptide use?

Here are the results:

Absolutely, I trust my doctor! 9%
Not really, they don’t understand peptides. 54%
No, I self-diagnose and do my own research. 37%

Well, we can’t say we’re surprised, but this is a sad state of the medical industry.

As one reader wrote…

They barely have 4 hours of nutrition education… mention peptides, and they look at you like you’re on the sauce, and then go into a diatribe about steroids being illegal and the harm that they can do.

I don’t need the lecture from someone who barely maintains his CEUs and certainly is not going out on a limb to see what the latest research is on life-extending drugs. They’re too busy trying to pay off their student loans, buy that big house with a new Benz so they look like an MD, and maybe find themselves a pretty lady. Have a discussion about Peptides? Not a chance!

Safe to say a lot of people aren’t happy with their doctors. We hope this will change one day, but in the meantime, we’ll continue to keep you informed on all the latest research in the world of health optimization. 🧠

🧬 Research Spotlight: TRT Improves Type 2 Diabetes

If you’re reading this, you probably know about the many benefits of addressing low testosterone…

Improved sexual function, increased lean muscle mass, a stable mood, and better energy and focus are just a few of the many benefits of proper TRT.

And now, thanks to new research, we know that TRT improves blood sugar control in men with Type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is adult-onset diabetes, usually brought on by a variety of unhealthy lifestyle habits.

However, unlike Type 1 diabetes, which is primarily genetic, many patients are able to go into remission and maintain healthy blood sugar levels with appropriate lifestyle changes.

Two of the most important changes are reducing body fat and improving insulin sensitivity… and both of these are direct benefits of TRT.

According to the study, TRT has been shown to reduce insulin resistance, HbA1c, cholesterol, obesity, and mortality, and improve quality of life, and sexual function.

So if you’ve been on the fence about starting TRT, or you think that you need to control your diabetes first, know that TRT may be more than enough to reverse Type 2 diabetes, assuming you’re also changing your diet and exercise habits.

Not sure if you need TRT? Our partners at Fountain TRT have put together a FREE screening tool to assess your hormone levels.

They also offer the cheapest bloodwork you can find, exclusively for Muscle + Brawn readers.

If you think there’s even the slightest chance you have low testosterone, getting checked through Fountain is a no-brainer.

📈 Tech Billionaires are Backing Anti-Aging Research

We’ve long known about eccentric millionaires like Bryan Johnson, who spend a small fortune trying to biohack their way to eternal life.

But now, the anti-aging industry is going mainstream…

And some of the most influential investors in the world are putting their money into anti-aging research.

According to Yahoo Finance, there’s been a recent wave of prominent investors backing various scientific research companies that focus on anti-aging and health optimization.

Jeff Bezos is invested in Altos Labs, a company that’s focused on developing drugs that slow or even reverse the aging process.

Bezos is also invested, along with Peter Thiel, in Unity Biotechnology, a company that researches senescent cells, which are believed to be a leading cause of aging.

And don’t forget, back in 2012, Mark Zuckerberg co-founded the Breakthrough Prize with his wife Priscilla Chan, and Google co-founder Sergio Brin. This annual award provides funding for scientific research, including anti-aging and chronic disease studies.

Now, we’re not saying that you should be investing in these companies.

We’re health experts, not financial advisors, so please do your own research.

But as more investors back these research companies, it gives us hope that new breakthroughs are on the horizon as the anti-aging market is becoming a competitive industry.

We can’t wait to see what kind of information comes from these companies, and we’ll let you know as soon as new research is published.

Thank you for reading, and we’ll see you next week.
