How many times have you been at a mall and fearful of blowing your keto diet? Well, if you were lucky enough to be in the presence of a Chick-fil-A, there are many keto Chick-fil-A options.
This is one of the restaurants I go to where I feel incredible about my visit every time I go. While in the past, my order was simple. A #1. Well, times have changed. This incredible thing called keto is in my life and now I order differently. Despite this, there are still some incredible options for those of us who are eating low carb.
First, let’s start off with breakfast.
Chick-fil-A Breakfast Options
There’s nothing on the breakfast menu you can order and not worry about getting any carbs. You need to make modifications to make things low carb.
First up is the Hash Brown Scramble Bowl. You might be thinking, how can this be low carb? It has hash browns in the title! Well, you’re right. We’re going to order it with no hash browns. It comes with scrambled eggs, melted cheese and three chopped up chicken nuggets. It contains about 4 net carbs in it and is actually pretty filling.
The rest of the keto Chick-fil-A options include breakfast sandwiches minus the bread. Some of these include:
- Chicken, Eggs & Cheese Bagel (w/out bagel) – 7g net carbs
- Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit (w/out biscuit) – 3g net carbs
- Egg White Grill (w/out english muffin) – 1g net carbs
- Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit (w/out biscuit) – 3g net carbs
Chick-fil-A Lunch or Diner Keto Options
First up, the Cobb Salad.
You can actually get the Cobb Salad with chopped chicken nuggets! You just simply get no corn and no tomatoes and it is 10g of net carbs. As far as dressing goes, the best option is the Garlic & Herb Ranch Dressing. It is just two more carbs. This awesome, filling salad is only 12 net carbs.
The grilled chicken nuggets are an awesome option for those of us on keto. You can have an 8-count order and it’s only 2g net carbs. You need to pass on the delicious Chick-fil-A sauce and instead opt for buffalo sauce.
The delicious Chick-fil-A breaded nuggets are actually something you can eat in moderation. They are about 1g net carbs per nugget. So you can top out at 8g of net carbs for an 8-piece order. Not something you can do all the time, but it can be the occasional treat.
There are some bunless sandwiches you can do also:
Grilled Club, Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap (no flatbread) and even the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich without the bun, checking in at 13g net carbs.
As far as dipping sauces go, you can have the buffalo sauce for 1g net carbs and Garlic & Herb Ranch at 1 g net carbs.
Chick-fil-A Sauce Replacement
You probably noticed Chick-fil-A sauce is not an option when it comes to the dipping sauces. For many, that will come as devastating news. We have you covered. We have a recipe to make the delicious Chick-fil-A sauce in a keto-friendly version.
1 Cup of Mayo
1 Tablespoon of Yellow Mustard
1/2 Teaspoon of Garlic Salt
1/2 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika
1/2 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
Mix them all up and you are ready to go. Keto-friendly Chick-fil-A sauce. It’s freaking amazing!
For salad dressings, Garlic & Herb ranch, Avocado Lime Ranch, Creamy Salsa, Light Italian are all 3g of net carbs or lower.
This incredible fast food restaurant has more keto options than you might expect, especially if you are willing to pass on the bun, biscuit, etc. when ordering.
