How this restaurant can be a place for keto dieters? Fortunately, if you are on keto diet, you can still find some great options. Low-carb meals are part of the menu, which makes keto at Chili’s completely possible. As a fan of this diet (and this restaurant), I needed to find some good alternatives. Here is what I found out to be the best at Chili’s when you are part of the keto world.
Broccoli Cheese Soup
This is an American classic known for low carb content and some fatty flavor thanks to added cheese. It is made of simmered broccoli prepared on light fire, accompanied with onions and butter. Broccoli is well known as a low-carb ingredient and when it is prepared lightly, it is completely safe for keto dieters. Few cubes of fatty cheese are added at the end, and that makes the flavor complete. This soup has only 8 g of carbs, which makes it ideal for keto eaters. I found it completely delicious.
You can easily choose some additions, like avocado slices which contain only 4 g of carbs in the full portion. This kind of entrée can make me happy anytime.
How about Monterey Chicken? (Lunch Combo)
Oh boy, this is an ultimate favorite of mine! I simply love chicken breasts, and this portion of Monterey Chicken satisfy all my senses. In this case, the chicken breast are cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper. On the top, you have bacon and cheese. In standard versions, you also get it all seasoned with barbecue sauce, but this is the thing to avoid if you want to stick to keto style. Barbecue sauce usually has many carbs and it is full of sugar, so it will ruin your diet. Go for a simple version without the sauce and get the meal with only 13 grams of carbs and plenty of taste.
When you are at Chili’s, don’t miss some other stuff that are completely amazing. I found Grilled Salmon with garlic and herbs incredibly interesting. It is a light and smooth version of fish where you have everything you need in one dish. Low carbs (only 1g) and 15g of fats will make you full anytime. Every time I order this entrée, I usually order some dressing too. Chili’s has a wide selection, and one of the best is definitely the honey mustard sauce with 1g of carbs and a lot of fats (22g). Everything is packed with attention to keto measurements, so you can be sure that you get the best for your money. More than anything else, the dish has all of the powerful nutrients to give you much energy. It is not another fish alternative that makes you hungry a few minutes after a meal.
