Lets face it, gyno’s not a pretty sight.
A typical alpha male has a lean/muscular body, not one with sagging man boobs.
Other males may feel sorry for you and women undoubtedly will be less attracted to you if you’ve got moobs – which is a sad reality. That’s not to say a man with gyno hasn’t got a lot going for them, as they may have other great qualities.
However if a person can remove their moobs and build a great physique, their self-esteem and happiness will certainly go up a few notches.
How to Get Rid of Gyno?
First we need to understand what gyno really is and how it forms.
Gyno is short for Gynecomastia. This occurs in males, when they form breast tissue in their pectoral muscles or chest region. Thus the nickname ‘moobs’ or ‘man boobs’.
Why Does Gyno happen?
Breast tissue is formed when a male’s estrogen levels are rise excessively high. How masculine a man is largely determined by his level of testosterone (the male hormone).
So, if estrogen (the female sex hormone) increases to high levels…testosterone decreases and a man begins to look and act more like a woman. This may result in a lack of confidence, lowered libido and even the accumulation of breast tissue.
Why can estrogen levels rise in men?
The main reasons why some men have an estrogen dominance is due to:
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Bulking Steroids
In puberty hormones can surge, which can sometimes lead to imbalances, leading to puffy nipples or even gyno.
If you’re currently going through puberty and believe you may have gyno, visit your doctor who will be able to regulate your estrogen levels if there is a strong imbalance.
Also, some breast tissue that’s formed in childhood can stay in adulthood, however this usually should decrease somewhat as you get older.
Alcohol is famous for sapping testosterone levels and increasing estrogen.
This is why many drinkers develop man boobs and have little muscle mass.
Aka the skinny fat look.
If you’re a big drinker, laying back on the alcy will have a big effect on your body composition and health. You may be able to take supplements to treat your gyno, without giving up binge drinking…but then you won’t be addressing the main cause, you will simply be treating it.
The higher your body fat percentage, the higher your body’s level of Aromatization.
Aromatization is the process that converts testosterone to estrogen. This is why losing weight and getting lean not only makes you look better, but also can make you feel 10 feet tall.
It’s because less of your testosterone will be converting to estrogen, resulting in greater overall well-being, increased confidence and motivation.
…by the way losing weight doesn’t mean you have to give up all your favourite junk foods. It simply means eating in a calorie deficit.
Gyno is one of the main clues that someone may be on steroids.
This is because steroids skyrocket your testosterone levels. The body then increases estrogen levels to balance this excessive amount of testosterone. The body does this to successfully decrease your cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
However, because estrogen levels can become raised to such a high level, some sensitive users may begin to develop gyno. Although gyno can be a sign of steroid-use, it is possible for some guys to have breast tissue in their pec region and not be juicing.
…as they could’ve experience this hormonal imbalance during childhood.

Another way to regulate your estrogen levels is to take a supplement for your gyno. Such supplements are designed to lower estrogen levels, whilst increasing testosterone; a balance that may reverse gynecomastia.
It’s advised to take these supplements for at least 3 months and combine this with a solid workout routine and diet.

Some people who are in a hurry to lose fat take cutting steroids aka fat loss steroids.
