Why Should People Exercise?

Why should people exercise? That is one of the most highly searched for phrases on the Internet, and I can understand why.

In this day and age, everywhere you go, someone is telling you to exercise. Your doctor wants you to eat right and exercise. Informercials saturate late-night and early morning television, selling exercise equipment. And hot looking bodies fill the pages of magazines.

But is that the only reason to exercise? Is it all about looking good? No, of course not. Exercise shouldn’t just about about looking good. You can use a better body as motivation, but ultimately, exercise should be about health.

Why Should People Exercise, Reason #1: Energy

Exercise gives you more daily energy. You will improve your cardiovascular health, and remove toxins from the body. As a result, you will feel better and more energetic.

Why Should People Exercise, Reason #2: Fighting Disease

People who exercise generally also eat better. The combination of healthy eating and exercise helps to battle diseases such as cancer, heart disease, heart attack and stroke. You will live longer.

Why Should People Exercise, Reason #3: Confidence

Daily exercise gives you more confidence. As you overcome the obstacles that come from, physical training, you start to gain confidence in other areas of you life. Plus, as you start to look and feel better, depression is often replaced with hope.

Live longer, with more energy, and with less depression and more confidence. These are the 3 simple reasons why people should exercise.

Of course, there are a myriad of other reasons why people should exercise, but these three are the most important.
