The following three Youtube videos are not a spoof. They were posted by gatorbaseball219, and appear to be sincere squat and bench press attempts. In the first video, “Gator” hoists 765 pounds on his back, performs a series of “squats”, then fails to rack the weight. In the second video, the spotter performs an amazing 475 pound Yates Row. And the last video must be a de-load week…Gator drops down to 225 pound squats and hammers out reps. He looks like an Oompa Loompa practicing his oompa loompas.

Warning, these videos are the very definition of epic fail.

In all seriousness, this is a sure fire way to get your self injured. Ego lifting leads to half efforts. If you continue down that road, this is where you’ll end up.

Ha! No wonder he’s so skinny. It’s a perfect recipe for getting hurt! Plus he’ll never build muscle doing wimpy form like that. It’s all about the weight on the muscle, not the weight on the bar. It’s seeing people like this that reminds me why I do what I do (helping counter the misinformation).
