Information on the 2009 Fresno Classic being held on April 18th, 2009, in Fresno, California.
AP. This is a contest flyer posted prior to the show. It is not a results page. Muscle and Brawn is a privately run website, and does now have a staff capable of compiling contest result information. If you would like contest results and pictures on the site, please submit them…I’d be happy to post them.
Where are the competition results??? Geez that show was not that small!!! Get with it!!
I just competed in the NPC Fresno classic, I got 1st in the lightweight class but failed to get the overall. The show was a blast and its just gonna make me work that much harder so that i can shoot for the overall again next year. I wish the show would have gotten more coverage, all the athletes were in great shape and the competition was tough, hopefully next year they’ll do something to get us more exposure. Thank you to everyone for supporting the sport and please continue to do so. Please check out my myspace page i’ve got tons of pictures of the show, check them out and let me know what you think. Thanks again
As someone independent to the bodybuilding industry, it is virtually impossible for me to get any decent photos or commentary on competitions.
Unless you are an official sponsor of the contest, or a huge muscle mag, you are out of luck.
I would love to cover more bodybuilding, but I am not in bed with anyone, and that makes it hard.
I do accept all contributions to the site…so feel free to send in pictures and results.
I once contacted every natural bodybuilding federation and received absolutely zero correspondence back. When I contact bodybuilders, many are in bed with specific magazines/whatever and won’t talk to me.
The bodybuilding industry is more about supplements and magazines then anything. if you are outside of that realm, you are virtually shut out.
Again, I welcome any/all freelance contributions…
what is really sad is their was no information on the results of the 2009 NPC FRESNO CLASSIC bodybuilding show last night. allot of people think that bodybuilding is not a sport. little do they know about us. i would go on but it is not worth it. bodybuilders , gym rats, fitness buffs ect., know where i come from. if one has the time to go what we go thru then they can see that it is discipline, dedication, motivation and most of all the love of the sport. thanks mario from fresno VONS
