Begin by placing your back against the pad and place your forearms on the appropriate pads. Hold your body up by using your forearms and make sure to press your back against the pad. Squeeze your abs and then pull your knees to your chest. You should pull your knees up as far as you can or at least until your upper thighs form a 90 degree angle with your body. Then slowly lower your knees back to the starting position.
You can also perform this exercise with your legs straight out which will make it a more challenging movement.
