Poor Sleep can Lead to Overeating

We all know that lack of sleep is bad for your body. But did you know that poor sleeping habits lead to overeating? Recent studies by Dr. Eve Van Cauter, University of Chicago, revealed that poor sleep creates chaotic leptin levels, basically creating an environment in which your brain doesn’t know when it has eaten enough food.

Dr. Cauter also found that poor sleep lead to overeating in all age ranges, from child to adult, and to an increase in diabetes.
