Pretty sure it’s 1g/kg body weight for gains. 0.8g/kg for the average person, 1g/kg if moderately active, and 1.2 g/kg if extremely active. 176g of protein for a 176 person would be extremely unhealthy, whereas the 76g per day range is about right.

Thanks for clearing that up. That is what I heard as well but this site suddenly made me unsure of that. It would be very difficult to have an intake of 160-200 grams of protein a day and as “k” said, unhealthy as well.
