I’m Confused: How many Sets are Best Per Exercise?

Research has revealed that for most exercises, 3 sets is enough. But how many sets you do doesn’t matter if you’re not focusing on progression of reps and weight. Do heavy compound lifts. Try to progress in reps/weight each workout. Keep your total workout time under an hour.

Programs don’t matter as much as how you work the program. Progression is king.
