How big can a natural bodybuilder get? These numbers represent your projected natural muscle mass limits using the Casey Butt formula and method.

Estimates are for 10% bodyfat, 7 inch wrist circumference, and 8.75 inch ankle circumference. All measurements, including height, is listed in inches. If you are large boned, your potential will be several pounds heavier then the presented numbers.

I think most naturals don’t get very big because they think they can’t. When I started bodybuilding by beginning weight was 140 lbs and I was about 20% body fat. Now I weigh 210 lbs and am at 10% body fat. I have 18 and a half inch biceps, 27 inch thighs, and a 48 inch chest. I have gained 18 pounds of rock hard muscle every year and am not slowing down. I am 100% natural and have gotten this big by busting my ass and having a very strict diet. I know other natural bodybuilders with 21 inch guns. It can be done, you just need to stop being lazy.

I work with numerous pro naturals and none of them are close to 21″. Keep dreaming, and pretending your gains aren’t slowing. Don’t buy that crap for a second.

You’re probably pretty close. it only took me 2 years to get to mine, and I’ve made little progress since. I don’t each as much protein as many say I need either. Please stop by the forum. I would like to see your progress pictures.

According to this chart, I’m right at my maximum “natural potential”, and I’ve only been lifting for a year and a half, and I started when I was almost 30. Most of my gains came in my first 9 months, using Arnold’s 6 day splits, I put on 40 lbs. in that period of time, and I wasn’t eating nearly enough protein.
