With that said, I've yet to see a natural with max lean mass really benefit much from straight PHs. Most of the users I see using them that have made decent gains have gained 10 to 15 pounds of muscle, and are far from maxing natural potential.I know this has nothing to do with the issue. Quote:

There are so many factors that create an underweight individual. Metabolism, exercise, hormones, etc. Personally, and I'm only basing this on opinion, I think most hardgainers can come close to the standard natural mass predictions. It might just take time. A magical thing happened to my body at the age of 30. I had been away from lifting for 8 years, and I came back and was naturally strong. I have no clue why. In a year's time I was benching 430, and doing overhead DB presses with 120's. I hadn't spent the last 8 years doing physical labor. I was in sales for 5 years previously, and worked 60 to 70 hours a week, ate horribly, and got no exercise. But yet my body was still changing. From the age of 20 to 30, physiologically I was still changing. I went from weak to "country boy strong." Which leads me to my point...each of us is different. And those that consider themselves a hardgainer now might be shocked in 5 years at how much lighter the weight becomes, and how much muscle they are adding. Quote:

a modern natural at an average height around 5'10 competes at 210 or so that would gives him an offseason weight of around 230 that is still a damn big man considering he will still be farily lean proably around 11% or so like a natural has a lot more trouble holding weight and being lean at the same time I have see bid men that no absoulty nothing about roids or even diet weigh about 260-270 at 20% bf or actually proably lower.

full body routines are better proably until you bench around 250-300 depending on hieght and deadlift 400 or more. after that a 2 day alternating split like dc or a powerlifting type routine is better imho powerlifting type workouts tend to work better for natural generally from what I have observed if for nothing more they go out of there way to avoid overtraining

Elite natural champions have always been around 190 pounds. This hasn't changed in 60 years. Some champions weigh more - around 200 - but they are generally 6'2" or more. It is EXTREMELY rare to see a natural over 200 in a contest. Again, they would have to be a minimum of 6 feet tall, and a genetic elite.

I will make you a challenge...if you can find one natural bodybuilder with defined, contest abs, who is under 6 feet tall and weighs more then 210, I will get a Mike Mentzer tattoo.

If natural bodybuilders could get ripped and weigh 210 to 230, they would look bigger then Arnold. Sometimes I think everyone has lost their marbles. Arnold was 6'2" and 235 contest weight. If you had some natural competitor in the 220s and under 6 feet tall, they would be pound for pound bigger then the Austrian Oak. Arnold wasn't even all that ripped either.
No offense to anyone, but this topic gets real fucking old. You CAN'T get that big without drugs.

I meant to imply that Arnold was a juicer. Not trying to be argumentative, but he took a lot more juice then prople give him credit for.
