Default Increasing the Bench Press

Because the bench press can be such a frustrating lift, I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate a thread to it, ala "Increasing Strength".

I will kick it off with a question. For those who are unable to get much of a leg drive in this lift, what do you recommend they do differently?

One small tip Roger Ryan taught me...drive my heels down. I had a tendency to stay completely up on my toes, and Roger told me that I still have to force my heels down. When I press now I focus on driving my heels to the floor.

With my heels up, my legs would twitch like I was having a seizure. That wasn't good for my stability or drive.

If I'm missing anything with this, I hope someone will chime in and add to it.
