Nice Birthday squattin' Big J. Speed looked good as well. I would like to see you get just a tad deeper as I thought it was just barely below parallel. Not 100% sure due to angle and the sweat pants tho.

That squat was good for sure, nice speed through the bottom too. You had at least another rep in there too. Only thing I would say is if you're going to have your wrists under the bar like that, might want to go with wraps. Just a thought.

Good stuff, buddy! Big things this year for sure.

Thanks Jim. Upon watching the video I thought the same thing regarding depth. I am in the same boat as you regarding the possible effect of the camera angle. I will try to record it again at a better angle.
Thanks again. I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks Mike! I agree about the other rep. After I racked it I kind of felt like I should have committed for the double. I hadn't noticed the wrist issue until you pointed it out. My intention is to keep my wrist straight. I will be more aware of this problem and see if i can fix it.
Thanks again.

Kroc Rows

Barbell curls (in the rack brah)

Overall Workout Grade: A

Notes:
BigJosh Smash, BigJosh destroy.
Nailed a 315 double. I am very happy about this. It was a clean double. The video below says it all. I am pumped, psyched, and stoked.

I didn't do kroc rows last week, because I was sick. I felt it this week. 90lbs felt heavy from the first rep. Just a reminder I use a tricep bar to do these. With a normal dumbell I can do more weight because of the decreased ROM. Why I felt the need to share that, not a clue.

Please excuse my big gut and sorry for the f bomb at the end:

Any feedback is welcome.

Not sure which I enjoyed more - the lift or the happy curse after-wards.

Nice and smooth and in the groove. Next stop 350.

Default 1/6/2013 Cycle 8 Week 3 Deadlifts

Deadlifts
275x5
315x3
350x1

Front Squat
105x10, 115x10, 130x10

KK Rows
135x15,15,13

Notes:
Just knocked this quick session out.
My back is making progress. I would say it is at 90%. I was able to hit all the lifts, but I still feel the lower back is a bit weak.
I used the pull the bar toward myself method as suggested by the BEARDED BEAST OF DULOC. It really seemed to make the pull smoother and not so jerky. It also just felt more natural generally speaking.

Front Squats were good. I have more weight in the tank, but I am just gradually creeping them up. I am using them as an assistance movement, so no need to push it IMO.

I am still loving the Kirk Karwoski rows. They blow my traps the funk up. Better than any shrug I've done lately.
