260x3 295x3 330x0 (Goal x3) Did not attempt lift due to back pain. Front Squat 105x10, 115x10, 125x10 Kirk Karwoski Rows 135x15,15,13 Decline crunches Bwx21x3 Overall Workout Grade: D+ Notes: I didn't attempt my top deadlift set. My back is still tweeked from last week. Fortunately it isn't really having an impact on any other lifts besides my deads, unfortunately it is really effecting my deads. I was going to push through and do the top set, but my brain won the battle between brains and balls. My lower back was in enough discomfort after the second working set that I felt it would have caused injury to pull the top set. Tonight I had to take a muscle relaxer to ease the discomfort in my lower back, so I think I made the right call. Front squats felt great. I enjoy this lift. It really nails the quads and is probably the best ab exercise I can think of. KK rows are awesome.

Aw man, hate to see you having a problem with the lower back. I have been there many times and I'm there now. Squats yesterday made it feel better tho, so I am glad to hear the fronts felt good.
Is there any plans to get it checked by either a Doc or a physiotherapist? Indeed, front squats and Oly lifts are definitely the best for Abs. At any rate, I hope you are back to pulling shortly.

140x5 160x3 175x1 (Goal x1) CGBP 140x10, 190x10, 210x13 Rack Chins (Fat man pull ups) BWx 10,8,6 EZ Bar Drag Curls 60x15,15,14 SS w/ Lateral DB raises 10x17x2 SS w/ Band Face pulls x15x2 Overall Workout Grade: B+ Notes: Worked out at a different time than usual, earlier in the day. It kind of through me off just a bit. Still felt like a solid session however. The top set of OHP was a grinder of epic proportions. It wasn't a grinder form breakdown wise, as my form remained solid and true. But the bar speed slowed way down and I really had to gut it out and just push! It was awesome that I nailed with what felt like no hitch or cheat, just kept right on pushing until that bitch locked out. I broke a mirror before starting CGBP, so on my top set I went for 13. It made sense to me in the moment. Rest of the session was pretty standard. Felt like a good way to start the new year. Had kind of a funny moment. My brother has been in town from Wisconsin. He kind of lifts sometimes but is getting back into it. He asked me about my curl form vs. his. I looked at him and told him "it's an f'n curl dude, don't worry so much about it". Just seemed to catch him off guard.
