I have considered fractional plates. I own a pair of 1.25lb plate mates that allow me to go up in 2.5lbs increments. I struggle with this though.
Is it better to reset and make jumps 5lbs at a time, or continue to move forward but only make 2.5lbs jumps?
Definitely the 2.5 lb jumps even on squat and deads if necessary. If I'm not mistaken, Wendler even agrees to this in the gospel.. IMO, reset is the last resort.

Aw geez - the last thing I wanna hear is a hurting back. Hope some home grown TLC can get it back in order. If not, make sure you get it checked out by someone like a doc or physio.

Your a warrior, which is why you carried on with the sesh. Lifting is also a big part of you, like DNA.

Merry Christmas to you, your wife, and mini Josh!!

Going to Google them. They are a new one to me.

Stay healthy and have a good Christmas hombre.

Thanks Steve. Hope you and your's had a great Christmas and have a awesome new year.
I got the idea from a Jim Wendler article on t-nation. It has an exercise description. I'll post it up along with the quote of the description.

Default 12/26/12 Cycle 8 Week 2 OHP

As I type this, I eat left over prime rib with inglehoffer horseradish.Win.

OHP
130x3
150x3
170x3 (Goal 3)

CGBP
140x10, 190x10, 210x12

Rack Chins (fat man pull ups)
bwx10,8,6

Ez Bar drag curls
60x15,15,12

Lateral DB raises
10x16x3

Band face pulls x15x3

Overall Workout Grade: A

Notes:
Solid Session.
Hit my rep goal. The lower back was a little uncomfortable, so I belted up. It felt fine after that.

Knocked out a couple more reps on CGBP than last week.

I'm using the 10lb dbs for lateral raises because that is what I have as far as dbs. There my ladies. I am going to buy some cheapy adjustable dbs soon.

I do the face pulls with an elitefts mini band. It is kind of cool because to progressively load them all you have to do is stand a bit farther back than before.

Sqwats tomorrow.

I always wear my belt on OHP and I also always wear my squat shoes (Nike Romaleos). The raised heel seems to give me more stability and seems to eliminate any feeling of falling backwards on tough reps or grinders.

Awesome OHP to say the least. Getting comfortable in your new JoshGym?
