thanks Jim ... definitely I'm going to miss my squats ... but will be using this break for eating eating and some more eating. So that by the time I'm back I can start it from where I've left.

There is no such assistance exercise in Smolov. It's only emphasis is on Squats. And that's enough. However I'm doing extensions / curls just to stretch quads / hamstrings whenever time permits. These exercises are also helpful in developing overall strength which I badly needed for this program.
