I hear ya on the lift ratio's. At my last meet, I felt Bench let me down when I could only muster a 243 lb press, yet I got 440 on deadlift and 405 on squat. I accepted it at the time, but not after-wards. I have been working hard to bring it up to where I think it should be.
With that said, most of us seem to have that 1 lift in which we struggle a bit. However, any obstacle can be overcome. Truly great lifting in here Ravi. That 20 second hold must have seemed like 20 minutes.
