I am very inclined to think that squatting BTB Style is more mental than strength. To squat that many plates with the bar likely bending must take alot of balls and guts.

The most I have ever walked out is 450 - and I thought I was going to get squished like a bug. It now may be time to try that 5 PPS for me as well. Maybe I'll try squatting down about an inch as well. Haha
thanks Squatter ... You are already doing 4PPS squats ... So you must give a try to 5PPS walkout ... that will be comparatively easy for you.

I didn't know you had a 3PPS+ Bench Ravi - I was quite pleasantly surprised. That is stunningly strong. I reckon I didn't know because everytime I look in here I see a squat session!!

Your first meet was bench only right?

Just 100% WIN in here.

thanks Jim ... actually I adopted 3x week Squat schedule when my shoulder and bicep joining muscle fibers got teared some 2-3 months back. I didn't do any kind of movements which involves shoulder like OHP / Chest / DB Curls etc. since last 2 months. Before that my best 1 rep max of chest was around 390-400.

Actually my bench is not that strong but my Squat and DL are comparatively weak. There is as such no fixed formula but I think if one can bench 330+ then Squat and DL must be above 425. That's my opinion ...
