Overdid it yesterday. Lower back is real tight. I think I need 3-4 weeks of moderate deads.

Ease back into it big man. Have you felt any benefit from the weighted ab work? I'm sure mine has improved my walkout and general stability under heavy weights.

On squats I think I received more benefit from weighted abs when I wasn't squatting as frequently. It seemed to help me on eccentrics when I was only squatting heavy 1x a week.

Now when I do weighted abs 2-3x a week it seems to benefit me the most in the deadlift. A little bit to keep up core strength appears to go a long way. When I slack on these for a few weeks, I lose a ton of abs endurance and power. That can't be a good thing.

I have built to 3x a week with 25 rep sets, and if I lay off for 3-4 weeks I can notice a huge drop off in strength. My abs seem to lose it very quickly.

I think so. I've tossed out my back previously, perhaps 4 years ago, and it healed rapidly as long as I wasn't pulling 80%+.

309.0 pounds (-9.6)

Didn't count calories but rather ate sensible, satisfying portions at night. Spent the weekend cooking some amazing meals, enjoyed all of them, and lost 3 pounds.

Wasn't hungry all weekend and had no cravings.
