You can try putting the boards under your t-shirt. My friend at the gym does that without a problem.

You think you could bench in the rack? Lift out and just touch on the pins like a board? I know you said pin press hurts the shoulder. Dont know if that would still bother it.

I have a belt I can use to belt the boards on. Just need to get the spotting catches at the proper height.

Possibly. It's more a case of the spotting catches not working well at board height but I think I can find a solution. Just need to play around.

April 27th, 2012

Workout Time: 60 minutes

Workout Grade: C-

Took me quite a few squat warmup sets to feel human. 415 felt real heavy, but went for 465 anyway. I lived through 465 so put on 505. First 505 rep was smooth and easy so I went for a double. Got a little bent over on the double which is highly unusual, but no big whoop.

Deadlifts felt heavy. Elbows started to feel painful. This was caused by 2 raw benching sessions this month. It will improve. Shut down deadlifts early. Not pushing things today.

Squats
145 x 3
145 x 4
145 x 3
235 x 2
325 x 1
405 x 1
465 x 1

505 x 2

Low Rack Pulls
225 x 3
315 x 1
405 x 1
495 x 1
585 x 1

Side Bends
45 x 10
45 x 10

Weighted Sit Ups
45 x 25
90 x 10 - Charlie Horse, not fun
