Squat 135x5 185x5 225x3 275x3 345x3 - PR - belt and wraps. No secondary work - back is tight already and i have a max on deadlift coming up. I want to be fresh for it. Wish i would've been able to video the last set because I was borderline parallel on first 2 and then on third had mental note to get down and did. tough set. Didn't feel as easy it should've but it's cool. 3 months ago I got a single with 345 and now this triple. Just gotta keep on going with it. |

Been on vacation for a few days.
Bench press 9/4/2012 135x5 185x5 205x3 225x3 250x1 - was expecting 2 reps, hoping for 3 and got 1. Not happy. Back off bench (20 Rep goal) 200x7,7,7(21) - move up 5 lbs, felt a little redemption here. Standing triceps extension (30 Rep goal) 75x13,12,10(35) - move up 5 lbs, was motivated to destroy all assistance work due to failure at on bench with 250. Decent session. Was surprised to do well on assistance work. Next cycle I'll destroy the 250 Rep set. |

Deadlift 135x8 225x5 275x3 315x3 355x3 - no belt BB standing rows 30 Rep goal 145x11,12,9(32) - move up 10 pounds BB shrugs 30 Rep goal 295x11,11,11(33) - move up 10 pounds Wasn't feeling the super heavy dead set this week plus I didn't have my belt. Held off at 355. Will get it next cycle. Assistance work went well. LOVE the sheik straps I picked up. Huge difference when doing shrugs. |

They sure work great. I couldn't bring myself to throw the money at the versa's and after a little bit if searching I found these. Supposed to be comparable for half the money. Hopefully they last a good long while. Quick and easy to use.

Push press 135x5 145x3 160x4. - PR Back off push press - 25 Rep goal 120x9,9,7 (25) move up 5 lbs Good session. Tris and shoulders were to fried to even think about doing close grip bench. End of 5/3/1 cycle. |
