Push press 45x8 55x5 75x5 105x5 125x3 135x7 - PR Then I started my deload week per the 5/3/1 cycle. Put 10 pounds on the overhead press 1RM over the last cycle. |

So I'm deloading this week, right? Well I did on squats as well as bench but I really wanted to hammer the tris so I did 5x5 on close grip bench with 185. I'm sure doing light bench allowed me to go heavylier than normal on these. Then did 4x12 on the tricep push down with heavy weight. Triceps recover quick enough that not deloading them should be fine.

7/4/12 squat 185x5 205x5 245x5 270x7 Day 1 of week 1 of my 3rd 5/3/1 cycle. Squats slowly getting stronger and more importantly I feel my form and control are getting better. Excited for this next cycle of 5/3/1. Should be repping some big weight (big for me). |
