Not trying to shove straps down your throat or anything, just showing my view on them.

Back strength is the major factor at improving grip strength. Fazc can tell you more about this. To improve grip, improve your back strength.

My back is strong, I always use straps, and I never struggle with grip when competing.

Just my 2 cents.

nothing wrong with rotating strap use into some pulls.

So I'm deloading this week, right? Well I did on squats as well as bench but I really wanted to hammer the tris so I did 5x5 on close grip bench with 185. I'm sure doing light bench allowed me to go heavylier than normal on these. Then did 4x12 on the tricep push down with heavy weight. Triceps recover quick enough that not deloading them should be fine.

Mine do as well. If it works, roll with it.

Thanks guys.

7/4/12
squat
185x5
205x5
245x5
270x7

Day 1 of week 1 of my 3rd 5/3/1 cycle. Squats slowly getting stronger and more importantly I feel my form and control are getting better. Excited for this next cycle of 5/3/1. Should be repping some big weight (big for me).
