Great work and progress, Mike.

As for going for the last rep on front squat, I don't think it's an exercise to pursue if there's a danger of losing it. Noisy and potentially injurious.

Also the meet I was thinking about was a USAPL one in Oct, but after trying USPF I don't really want to go back to that. Also I have never spotted so if you trust me enough to do it!

Don't burn the MikeGym if you move again!!Nice work on the deadlift PR. When I started doing my routine of squat/bench/deads, I thought my deads would suffer doing all that work beforehand, but it didn't either.

Keep plugging away at the fronts. I am a little wary of them since my "incident" a few weeks ago with them. I think Pull was right, that my bar is bent and it was cutting off blood flow in one of my neck arteries.

I think if I load my plates the opposite way, the bar will bend back to it's original flat state. Right? ()

HAHA! I'm hitting almost nothing lately. My in-laws showed up unexpectedly for three days ( I mean really, who does that!?! We just moved for chrissakes!) my low back went out carting furniture on the stairs for the fourth time because my wife is insane, and the heat and humidity here has been ridiculous, wild storm here and we lost power for a day, etc. I just can't get myself together enough to workout at all since last Thursday. Thanks mab and OR! I will get consistent soon. This move started so well, but then has veered off into unwanted territories.

However, I am finally free of problems I think, but as the rest of the week might be sketchy with committments, I am just going to do some generic 5x5 stuff every other day this week and restart cycle 3 next Monday.

Today I did:
C+P 5x5 up to 135
Lat Pulldowns 5x 5x 190
Squat 5x5 to 245
Bench 5x5 to 205
Rows 5x5 to 135
Stiff DL 3x5 to 205

Took about an hour all told. Not too heavy and kept rest times to minimum. I actually really love this style of workout! But, you can't do it max heavy and my goals involve max heavy, so it's a nice break but still good work.

There you go. All I got for now. Next week, no excuses. Midnight workouts if that's what it takes.

Good work all the same and way to keep pushing despite things conspiring against you. It's always the way though isn't it? When you're on a roll, something comes and tries to stop you. It's up to us to get through it and keep pushing on the other side.
