Blah Spent the whole of saturday asleep, sick as a dog. Trained Sunday and benched and squatted, was tough but I got some work done. Plan was to train again Sunday night but still felt iffy so I rested. |

Thank you gents, after a day or two off its always harder
Bench/Squat Day Solid night of lifting, I benched triples with short rests with 97.5kg, I then hit the squats with chains, this time starting with speed sets between 60-70+% bar weight plus chains and working to a top single, not a max but heavy enough as the wife was on my ass to finish up. Bench/Squat Day 25/3/13 Bench Press 10x3 97.5kg Squats + 4 Chains All 1 Min Rest 1x5 95kg 3x4 110kg 3x3 120kg 1x2 127.5kg 1x1 135kg 1x1 142.5kg 1x1 150kg |

ME Squat/Deadlift Day
Very strong night tonight, I paused squatted with the SSB and a orange band to a max single then hit backoff triples. Once I accumulated about 20 heavy reps I then pulled against minis, I hit a decent PR there of 170kg, which is only about 10 kg off my best geared pull with the same setup. I must be very close to 500 again which is great news. I then did band GMs supersetted with split squats to fill the legs with blood. Great workout. ME Squat/Deadlift Day 26/3/13 Paused SSB Squat + Orange Band 1x2 95kg 1x1 110kg 1x1 125kg 1x1 137.5kg (PR) 6x3 110kg 1 min rest Sumo Deadlift + Minis 1x1 150kg 1x1 160kg 1x1 170kg (PR) Band GM SS Split Squat Approx 90 reps |

Bench/Squat Day
I just spent a few nice relaxing days at the lake, took a few days off just to relax with the family. I did chins at the playground every chance I could and some bodyweight squats etc. Anyways, by the time I got home I was fiending for some heavy iron, I benched vs 2 chains for some sets, these felt great. I then hit paused squats with an orange band, my freakin hip was tight as shit though, always the case after time off like that. I did about 20ish backoff reps and called it. I went back in later that night and hit SSB squats with 4 chains, where I hit a heavy but nice PR, I did another 25 backoff reps there and then pulled sumo vs 3 chains. I am tinkering with my foot position for pulls in an effort to see what gives me more speed/strength off the floor. I tend to squat with my toes fairly straight and started doing the same with deadlifts by default, my floor strength has gone to shit and I am thinking its for that reason. Anyways solid day of lifting. Bench/Squat Day 1/4/13 A Bench + 2 Chains 3x6 75kg 3x3 85kg 4x2 90kg Paused squat + Orange Band 1x3 80kg 1x2 95kg 1x2 110kg 1x1 125kg 1x1 135kg 1x1 142.5kg 4x3 107.5kg 5x2 115kg ME Squat Day 1/4/13 B SSB Squat + 4 Chains 1x2 95kg 1x2 110kg 1x1 125kg 1x1 140kg 1x1 150kg 1x1 158.5kg (PR) 5x3 110kg 5x2 117.5kg Sumo Deadlift + 3 Chains 4x3 135kg 3x2 145kg 5x1 160kg Will try do lots of accessory tonight for the legs, to get as much blood into them as I can. |
