Yeah it took a while, I didnt time it tho!
ME Squat Day Today I did Anderson squats to pin 30 with 4 chains per side. I went to a max single but missed a PR attempt, not happy!! I then dropped down and did volume, working to a 4-5 RM. I finished with speed squats and then some back work. Not sure what to think about the miss, I did spend a long portion of the workout trying to setup the bar on my back so it didn’t hurt my LH side, I still couldn’t get a good position that didn’t hurt a bit but it wasn’t too bad. Will have a good crack at more squatting tonight. ME Squat Day
Today I changed it up a tad, instead of a true max single I took just under 90% and repped it as much as I could for 5 sets. I then switched to long pause squats for doubles.This was done with the cambered bar, man was it tough! I then pulled sumos from a slight defecit. 15 singles with only enough rest to reset and pull. This was awesome! Good workout. Bench/Squat Day Today I floor pressed for sets of 4, I took short rests and got a fair bit of decent work done, I then pressed overhead so that T dub would not yell at me again! LOL After the OHs I did reverse grip bench, meh not likely I’ll do it again but I always wanted to try it! I finished with concentric GMs off pin 28 with 4 chains. These were solid smoked an easy PR then repped out. Good night of lifting. Bench/Squat Day 12/2/13 Floor Press 4x4 92.5kg 30 secs 3x3 97.5kg 30 secs Press 3x5 2x4 Flange weights Rev Grip Bench (off Pins) 5-6 sets of triples to 100kg SSB Concentric GMs + 4 Chains 1x2 95kg 1x1 110kg 1x1 120kg 1x1 132.5kg (PR) 1x15 80kg Done |
