ME Squat Day Today I squatted with the cambered bar up to a max and then hit backoff sets off of a low box. I was not ready at all for how that bar would react as I sat on the box, whoa it is so hard to get off the box with, I started with just 90kg and ramped up from there. I think this will be a good exercise for my squat, very tough right below parallel. I then hit a lot of split squats for reps, these are a weakness so I’ll be doing them a lot. That was it was rushed a bit for time. Bench/Squat Day
Tonight I benched for 6s, these went ok but felt tough towards the last sets, I then hit militarys for assistance which went well. I finished by squatting with the SSB and an orange band, got a max of 130kg and then hit a couple rep sets. Had to cut em a bit short cos it was late and I have started work again for the new year. Bench/Squat Day 7/1/13 Bench Press 6x6 97.5kg Press 3x5 SSB Squat + Orange Band 1x2 95kg 1x1 110kg 1x1 120kg 1x1 130kg 1x10 90kg Add Low Box 1x6 90kg |

Bench/Squat Day
Shitty night of pressing tonight, I have started a slow recomp and have dropped my food intake just a tad. Well as usual my pressing strength is on to my plan and its not happy! LOL Plan was 8x4 with 225, a weight I can usually dominate with no troubles for 5s, I tanked out on set 5. What a fucking joke. This week is supposed to be my 2nd week of the 3 week cycle, and every set has been way harder than it should have been, it definitely did not help that the cycle was interrupted by the 5 day break for a holiday either. Anyways needless to say I think this cycle is in the toilet, gonna keep with the recomp for a bit but up the cals just slightly. I’ll also draw something up for the next cycle. I’ll keep the militarys and might add floor presses in as they usually help me. Anyways I did box squats after with no gear at all to a max and then backoffs. Squat feels strong right now, shoulda put my belt n wraps on last night and gone for broke. Bench/Squat Day 8/1/13 Bench Press 4x4 102.5kg 1x3 102.5kg Felt terrible Floor Press 3x7 80kg Press 3x5 quite possibly a PR for 5s?
