OK

Crazy ass week, I got sick and lost about 3-4kgs in 2 days, work is insane right now been going through one of the worst/busiest times I can remember. All of my cycles for pulls and bench have been thrown out the window by a few days leaving me without the possibility of tapering down how I wanted to. BUT I am still gonna do this meet, don’t get many opportunities for meets here so I cant chuck it in just because of a shitty last week. Training actually bounced back ok despite the weightloss etc I benched a new 5rm but did it for 5 sets across, the very next day I benched my old 3rm for 10 triples. Pulls, I am not sure where they are, I have not pulled heavy in a long time last deadlift workout was 10 triples with 400lbs, we will see I guess. Overall I am hungry, skinny (LOL) and not exactly prepared, let the fun begin!!!!!!!!!!!

205kg Good Meet PR easy as pie
227.5kg Missed at the last bit of lockout

Worst run bench flight I have ever seen.30 lifters on one platform so we had to wait 20+ mins between attempts. To top it off they changed it from 2 flights to 1 without telling us so when my name was called I was just warming up so they scratched my lift, how ****ing shit was that?, put me in a real bad mood too and I am not an angry lifter always very calm.

Deadlift felt great despite not finishing my cycle as I wanted, I reckon 220 (485ish) would have been quite easy tonight, the 227.5kg (500lbs) was too big of a jump in retrospect, I never jump like that in training.

Overall, meh I love training more than meets, what a waste of a training week. Vids if I can find em

ME Squat Day

Squatted with the red band and 2 chains, felt dumb strong today, hit a decenty PR of 325 with all that contrast. I then did some high rep rows and swings. Back is a little tender, got a bit rounded on that 500 attempt last night and its showed.

ME Squat Day

Tough day, feeling a bit sore in the arms, spent a lot of time trying to get em to co operate and managed to get some solid work done. Benching will not be fun with arms like this tho. Currently got a plan laid out for bench it will be lowered volume and higher intensity for a 4 week block. Undecided when it will start as I might need to heal up a little. Plan is to change up squats for a little bit also. A lot more volume with straight weight. Pulling will be similar to before the meet, higher volume but with some overload off blocks etc.Anyways….
