ME Squat Day
Another super busy afternoon saw me with only limited time in the gym today, But I still put in some work.I worked up to a new PR with 4 chains and the straight bar of 166kg. That biatch was heavy!. Backed off for speed sets and had to run. Good day but I had alot of rows palnned and some swings.Oh well the main work was done. Bench/ Squat Day
Finally a decent bench day, really worked my setup today and broke it down and thought about it all day (sad I know!) but there was a few mental cues I had been missing and it really seemed to be better. I first worked up to 117.5kg for a pretty smooth single, I then did my 6s which went well. I missed a couple new 6rm attempts but it at least puts me rep work up with the best ist ever been. I was quite gassed after the benching today, but I managed to shoulder press and then hit anderson squats with the SSB to a new max but no volume work after. Went well, a good day. Bench/Squat Day 27/3/12 Paused Bench 1x1 102.5kg 1x1 110kg 1x1 117.5kg 1x6 95kg 1x5 100kg 1x6 92.5kg 1x6 95kg 1x5 98.5kg Press 2x7,6 1x15 SSB Anderson Squat 1x1 110kg 1x1 120kg 1x1 130kg 1x1 136kg (PR) SSB GM 2x 8 then weird midback twinge so I stopped, nothing serious tho. |
