ME Squat Day
Another day another late night in the gym, when the heck did things get so darn busy? Anywho squatted with that evil bitch the SSB today, worked up to a new PR of 152.5kg. Nice I am getting close to my old record in suit bottoms! I then dropped down a tad and did some singles with short rests which got me warm and then it was down again and back up in 5s. Last set of 130kg for 5 smoked me and I got that headache again. I reckon its stress related ,been a shitty month for the household thus far. ME Bench/ME Squat Day
Good night last night, I close grip benched up to 116.5kg, that is likely an alltime PR. I haven’t maxed it in a long time tho. I then did lots of MPs and extensions. I finished up with paused close stance squats again, PR of 146kg was the result. I’ll likely keep hammering these everyday as they hit my legs harder than most lifts I have tried. Good day all up. Thx BTB, I actually find I have better control with a pause.
DE Bench/ME Squat Day Had a good day in the gym today, speed bench was first used straight weight for 5s all close and medium grips. I then went out to comp grip and paused triples up to 100kg.These were tough with short rests and all the volume I had done CG. Next was DB inclines with a medium weight, all sets to failure. I finished with Tate presses and then hit up SSB squats with a red band. Strong day but I was tired by the time squats came up! DE Bench/ME Squat Day Bench 3x5 60kg CG 3x5 60kg Med Grip Comp Grip and Paused 1x3 87.5kg 3x3 95kg 20 secs rest 3x3 100kg 20 secs rest Incline DBs 5x15,14,12,12,10 20kg ea Tate Press 2x12 10kg ea 2x8 15kg ea SSB Squat + Red Bands 1x1 110kg 1x1 120kg 1x1 127.5kg (PR) 6x3 for speed ???? 15 secs rest (this was good as I stayed pretty fast) |

ME Squat Day
Man training at night is getting weird! Been crazy stressed out of late with a few things here and there, and my focus gets shifted and time gets away, before you know it its 9pm and I am only just warming up to lift! Straight bar tonight with 4 chains and a mini. I like this combo its tough. I worked up to 147.5kg on the bar for a slow record. I then dropped down to 90kg about 50% and did very fast moving speed sets with 20 secs rest. I am getting in good shape with these rests as I flew through 15 sets without breaking a sweat tonight. Bar speed was good too. I finished with heavy rep RDLs and some chins. ME Squat Day 13/5/12 Squat + 4 Chains and Minis 1x2 110kg 1x1 125kg 1x1 140kg 1x1 147.5kg (PR) 5x2 90kg 20 secs rest 5x2 95kg 20 secs rest 5x2 100kg 20 secs rest RDLs 5x10 To 130kg Chins 1x5 BW 3x7,7,5 +10kg |
