Looking forward to your progress.

ME Upper - 3/1/2012

Bench Press:
135 x 10 x 3 sets
225 x 3
275 x 3
315 x 1 - flew up easily
345 x 0 - almost

Incline 12" Log Press / Chest Supported DB Row:
135 x 5 / 70s x 15
185 x 5 / 70s x 15
210 x 3 / 70s x 15

DB Bench / DB Curl:
80s x 8 / 35s x 10
80s x 8 / 35s x 10
80s x 8 / 35s x 10

JM Press:
135 x 8 x 3 sets

DB Side Bends:
40 x 20 per side

Sledgehammer Swings:
10 x 20 x 3 sets

Decent workout considering my chest and shoulders were already sore. I was going to do close grip floor presses, but another guy was using the rack. Plus I wanted to see where my bench was at anyway since I haven't benched in forever. I was surprised at how easy 315 was. It's never felt that light. I definitely could have pressed 335. No videos today, I'll try to take some next time.

Welcome to the board and strong work in here. Considering you don't bench. Those are solid numbers, especially your deadlift and ohp!

Nice man, your training looks solid!!

How do you arrange your training days? Looks like you use a west side style split, how do you incorporate events?

After my PL comp, I am going to try to get more into strongman training. I just do not have a gym with the right stuff, or a serious training partner. I am slowly getting more and more strongman equip. Stuff is expensive.

This looks pretty similar to what I will be doing. I live North of Philadelphia, PA closer to Trenton, NJ.

Not sure how to find a strongman crew.

There is a promoter in Pennsylvania that has a training crew up there. You can contact him at teambix@gmail.com if you want more info. He's hosting a competition on May 26.
