Wouldn't worry
these DOMS are vicious, they'll be here for a few days yet but in a good way I can walk better but the tricep DOMS have escalated.

Yeah, I remember my mother carried a purse (for coins) and a handbag (for the purse and everything else), both of which were stuffed to breaking point with, what I'd consider as "rubbish", but I prefer just wearing a coat and taking the necessary stuff only...keys, money (no purse)...the phone (as req'd).

Headache has been killing me all day, so I'm not pushing things...well, apart from the wheelchair earlier
My quads are now the worst of the remaining DOMS, due to the 60 sissy squats on Saturday; I also had a bash at taking the stairs 3 at a time because 2 steps just doesn't cut it any more...far too easy; so, the legs have had a great workout.

Yep
I find that hitting some volume and lowering the weight tends to really get things kicked off in the right direction, then I can upp the weight and lower the volume in a couple of weeks time. I'm mostly doing the volume work to reestablish some form of conditioning and it helps whilst I can't fully access my weight plates as well. It's interesting how volume causes horrendous DOMS but heavier weight loads and lower volume don't appear to.

Very interesting. It does hint at the impact of duration upon damage. Or, because negatives are more the culprit...the impact of negative duration upon damage.
