Glad to see the deadlifts are feeling good again! Squat rack curlers... they make me want to "accidentally" drop heavy weight on them.

Thanks Brute. Yeah, I think they needed a nice big fat reset.
Problem with accidentally dropping heavy weight on them is that squat rack curlers tend to really avoid any weight that we would consider heavy, making it difficult to drop it on them.

DB flat Bench
110x5,5,3

Incline BB bench
135x8x3

Cable crossovers
25x12,12,11

OHP
105x8x3

DB lateral raise
22.5x10x3

Reverse Pec deck
115x10x3

Lying Tricep Extension
90x8x3

Cable push downs 125x12x3

Overall Workout Grade: B+

Notes:
I read something from wendler in the last week or two, where someone asked him (basically) about using dumbell bench for "heavy" training. He responded no don't do it, you'll understand why if you ever try.
Well I understand why.
It is hard as hell to get 110 dumbells off of the rack and into position to bench. I'm going to stick with it, because I am a stubborn bastard, but it's like a damn full body workout.

Switched from hammer strength incline bench press to bb bench press. Felt much better on the shoulders.

Still getting used to the lightened OHP load. After flat and incline benching, my front delts are pretty shot. I understand why I am grouping shoulders and chest, it is just the nature of this routine, and I am good with that. However, I stand firm in the fact that OHP deserves a day apart from heavy bench press. But I won't be changing this routine, I just have to keep in mind this is only temporary. And it's just the way it is for now.

I'm loving the back day and leg days. This is workout is really the one I'm on the fence about.

Oh well, on word and upward. Having fun "working out like a bodybuilder".

Nice smashing session.

Bingo. Inclines are worse, and OHPs the dumbbell lift from hell.

When I was training with Joe Ohrablo I tried his gym's 150 pound dumbbells and it took me like 60 seconds to actually swing them in front of my quads. Sounds silly, but the bastards are so long.

I agree with you on OHP, Josh! Deserves it's own day. Still, there you go. If you want to give your delts a bit of a break, maybe push press instead of OHP? I know that first drive off the bottom in OHP is what kills my delts. The lockout isn't so bad.

Don't know if this helps either, but when I did DB bench. I put both dumbells down on floor, picked them up hammer grip and cleaned them to the front of my shoulders (one knob of DB was resting on shoulders), then sat down on bench and leaned back, pushing them up off my shoulders just before lying completely down. That was my first rep too! I counted it as I wanted that exercise over as soon as possible. This actualy works even better for inclines, but I can't imagine anything working well with OHP. Just a thought.

Great stuff as usual!

HAHA! I can't imagine the 150's. I thought the 110s were long!!! It is much harder than one would imagine just to get them onto the quads.
