After trying front squats for the first time last week, I really appreciate how difficult it is to hit 245 for reps and few people are ever at that level cos they're bloody hard even at half that weight! Well done!

have to agree with the others that those fronts are pretty mighty Big J. I remember awhile back you were having some issues with your squats. Nice to see your enjoying them again.

I miss doing calf raises after leg press. I must devise an evil plan to get rid of Mrs Squatters stupid luandry racks and sub in a leg press!!

Thank Kuyt. I suck at back squatting, but I guess I've found my niche.

Thanks Squatter. I still think I have issues with my back squat. I either have a weak spot that I need someone to point out or I have some sort of undiagnosed form issue. I might actually test them this coming up week out of curiosity to see where they are at.
Thanks for the encouragement.

Default Pictures from the weekend!

Hey guys!! I took the family over to the coast this weekend and just wanted to share some pictures. We left Friday morning, and went to the Central coast. We had a good time. Saw some sights and did a lot of good eating!!! I was able to get my 'Push' workout in Thursday, i'll post it here either tonight or tomorrow.

This one is Baby Grant and I on the Pismo Beach Pier:

This is Kelly, Baby Grant and I going out to have the biggest (I emphasize biggest, this steak was huge) and best Filet Mignon I've ever had. It's a bit blurry, but still a good pic:

This is Grant and I hanging out on the cliffs at Shell Beach:

Again, Grant and I at the cliffs at Shell Beach:

Arguably the coolest picture from the trip. Me in front of the worlds largest bbq grill at the Santa Maria Strawberry festival. I am eating a braut cooked on the grill:

And Last but not least, Grant and I feeding goats at the Avila Beach Barn:

Priceless Pics Big J - really enjoyed them all equally so I cannot pick out the best one. The best caption tho was the one regarding eating the biggest steak you have ever had.

Little Grant sure was having a great time smiling in all the pics.
