7 - 17 - 12 AM Squat -2x3x365 -1x405 -1x435 -5x2x395 PM Snatch -1x170 -1x175 -1x185 -2x0x195 -2x1x180 -1x185 -1x190 -1x195 -0x200 -2x1x185 Clean & Jerk + Jerk -2x1x185 -2x1x205 -2x1x225 Squats felt awesome and I'm surprised I got them as heavy as I did after the injury and time off. The mobility work is also getting me much deeper which I'm really liking. PM session was crappy. The heat was just destroying me. When I started to feel dead tired after the first 190 snatch, I decided to just finish the snatches and fart around with C&J. Heres a video from a few weeks ago... 195, 200 miss, 200lb |

Nice first day back! Glad the back is OK. Nice to hear the job is going well enough you are looking to move and drop the commute. Actually, perhaps in some ways the injuries gave you a break you needed given the hours at work and in the car.
And you've got to be kidding me, ripping off a 435 squat your first time back after a layoff! You're a machine. And I miss my air-conditioned gym I used to go to! I now know what you mean about lifting in a sauna! Jesus, it gets hot down here. 100 damn degrees and my garage feels like an oven, but open the doors and bugs the size of buicks come storming in to rend flesh like it's the apocylypse!
