Great work mate and another awesome collection of videos.
Hahaha.I don't take myself serious enough to mind something like that... so don't give me any ideas! Thanks bud.

As always, thanks for the support Steve. An article would be humbling, but wouldn't know what to say past: bust ass.

Also what type of sleeves are those TK? and how do you like them?
Thanks MAB! The sleeves are McDavid? Picked em up awhile ago from sports authority on the cheap. Nothing special, but they seem to be holding up well and one of the few sleeves that stays put over my quads. I like them...

4 - 9 - 12

Clean & Push Press
-1x235
-1x250
-1x260 PR!!!... Ugly though
-2x235
-3x2x245 PR

Squat
-1x405
-1x440
-1x455
-3x2x425

Pull Up
-4x5xbw
-6x5x40

Widened grip a bit on the cleans and push presses; not much but enough for it to effect timing and bar path on the press. Technique didn't fall in line until the 3rd set of 245, but with strength gone, 2nd rep was AWFUL. Will also be adding some arm work on days 2 and 4 to reinforce the elbows.

Also putting a lot of focus into the cleans and hopefully once and for all ditch some of my bad habits.

Squats were pretty tough, lower back fatigued from the pressing. Still managed strong work. Video up tomorrow...

Pull, those squats are ridiculous! Jeezuz, you just hit a PR with 440 maybe two months ago, and now you double it? And 460 like it's an afterthought? Seriously?

BtB is right your log books should be required reading at the academy of lifting.

Thanks, and no problem. I hear good things about the Kono's... they're pretty thick too so you may be able to squeeze a couple pounds out of them.

To much focus on pulling the bar up, not sweeping the bar in toward my hips from the start of the pull, and this all results in keeping the weight over my toes and "jumping" early and over extending the hips. My fixes... slow down the first pull (off the ground) just a bit, think about sweeping the bar with the arms and just waiting a bit longer before "jumping" (its not really a jump, but gets the point across). Once the bar gets high, really throw those hips forward fast and hard... its a power clean so I'm still trying to get the bar high, but I'm trying to get height through the hip extension and not with the momentum of the first pull, shrugging the bar, or getting on my toes. Looking at some of my older cleans you can see in full extension I stay on my toes and my body is much higher than this most recent video. Still have a ton of work to do, but think its a good first step.
