Thanks steve,

Feeling pretty drained after the weeks sessions.
Todays rest will certainly be taken advantage of

Shoulder Workout - 30/3/12

Military Press
40kg x8
45kg x8
50kg x8
55kg x3

Dumbbell Shoulder Press
26kg x6
26kg x7
26kg x6
28kg x4
28kg x5

Rear delt raises with plate
5kg x12
5kg x12
10kg x12
10kg x12

Ez Bar Curls
30kg x8
35kg x8
37.5kg x8
40kg x6

Notes: After resting for a week on shoulders they hadnt really improved much. Pain was still present.

Just wondering, is there a need for a full day to be devoted to shoulders? or is it too intense on a small portion of the body?

Well you do want to keep a balance between shoulder, chest and back work, but you don't need a shoulder day. You could move to an upper/lower split.

If you're experiencing pain you need to back off work. Next time drop to 60% of the weight, try to do the reps, and see how it feels.

You've been smashing weights consistently for while now so there will always be days where you don't feel up to scratch. Don't let it bother you (and from the attitude I've seen from you so far, I don't think it will

Shoulder injuries can be an absolute nightmare so don't feel the need to push it. My recent shoulder problem lasted 10-11 days but that's because I didn't force it. Years ago, I messed up my shoulder and was screwed for 6 weeks because I didn't ease off on it and tried to do too much. It's unlikely to affect other lifts (Maybe bench) so you can still be awesome in the gym

Havent been on in a few days..

I had a disaster session on Sunday. Bench was going well until I was awoken sitting on the floor holding the hammer strength machine with 5 people around me..

Apparently I had a 6 minute seizure.. The guys at the gym had called the ambulance and my blood sugar levels had dropped as low as 0.9. They put me on a drip and brought me to hospital for tests.

I assume this has never happened before? Did it occur while resting or in the middle of a set?

No, not at all. Never heard of it before.

Bruteforce would be the guy to ask hear about it. He knows a lot about blood sugar and levels and might be able to give you some advice.

Did they give you any indication why this happened? Or did they just make sure you were ok and send you home? Any follow up with a doctor?

Were you working today? Or did you head to the doctor?

You need to get to the bottom of this to make sure its only a one off.

Give me a text later to let me know the story
