Thanks everybody, I appreciate it. I hope everybody had a great Christmas!

Deficit deads 385x8
4 inch block pulls 425 2x3 (these are defintely my weak point,if I cant use my quads then I die)
SSB squats 300 3x8
GHR 3x8
Band gms blues+100 pounds 3x12

I got Lilly's new E-Book and I really like how he trains the deadlift. I have faced recovery issues with my lower back with my squatting and trying to pull at the same time. I am going to give it a go for my deadlift because I think the rotation would address those issues. I am also trying out a new pre workout from Eric Brosers new company PNI. Its called Prodigy and I will be logging that in the supplement log.

Looking forward to seeing how your deadlift goes. I also have a lower back that seems to take forever to recover. I like JB's program tho - in the 5 weeks I have been on it I have only pulled from the floor once.

I am also quad dominant as I find rack pulls a bitch.

Nice job making the whole sesh more difficult and getting it done.

Very similar system and those block pulls are going to work great with the squatting. Always been a weak point for me. The first time I pulled 600, I missed a 545 rack pull the week before. Then I had partners that could beat me by 75 pounds in a rack pull but I would smoke them off the floor. Looking toward to see what happens because I am getting the competitive itch again.

Good to hear you may compete in 2013. Competing is always a good thing. It seems just sitting next to the Russians at the WPC in Vegas made me stronger. Laerned alot from everyone.

Yeah, I was averaging 6 meets a year my first three years back and I got a little burnt out. I would do things like a full raw meet one weekend then an equipped push pull the next. I only did one meet this last year before I tried Oly lifting so I am considering it in 2013.

Going to be trying that myself.

Let me know what you think of the deadlift program.

I may just give the whole thing a go. Its similar to what I am already doing minus the deadlift day and I am still having spasms from this morning. It also has alot of overhead work which is what I credit the jump in my current bench.
