Thanks everybody.
Took a day off and felt decent today. The funny thing is when you train like I do, a meet is really no big deal. Its just a hard workout. ^ Making it look easy on all counts. I wish I could bounce back from squat maxes as quickly as you do. My CNS seems to dislike me for 4-5 days.

I was like that until I switched to my current programming. I squat to a max multiple times a week followed by back off sets. I rotate weeks where I rest but its not your traditional do nothing de-load.
It took my raw squat from a 515 miss to 555 in a month. I put Disciple X on it and he squatted 415 after missing 375 in about the same period. I am backing off now to work some running in but it changed my mind on what you can recover from. |
