25/6 Event training
Notes: Very good training today. Started by squatting to warm up and hit another post injury PR, feels very good to be back on track. Yoke sprints were damn hard when weight got heavy. On 290kg my left calf gave up so stopped before injury happend -I were walking like a drunk with that on my back! Farmers hold were brutal. All 3 of us had forgot chalk and they are newly made with very sharp knurling! Paused Squat 2x100kg 2x120kg 2x140kg 2x150kg Yoke Walk 10x20meter with190kg 2x20meter with 220kg 1x20m with 250kg -PR 0,0x290kg Farmers hold 120kg each hand for 20.8s 120kg each hand for 28.4s -PR |

Nice work, paused squats are brutal! As for that yoke walk, bloody hell!

Thanks guys, 1/4 ton on my back felt pretty good. Looking forward to continue with this kind of training and to do my first competition in august. Tomorrow we do max rep for time with the lig C&P and I will also squat and deadlift. Good times!

Solid yoke walk. That's a lot harder than most people imagine. Hard enough just walking out 500 pounds for a squat.

Thanks guys! Yes the scene here is pretty big, lots of small competitions around and its also pretty common that big shopping centres arrange a comp on their parking lot with strongman and showlifts, for PR.
