Smoking ribs for dinner and WILL have some Boston Creme Pie for my birthday cake. Looking forward to is. Squats - Wanted 20 reps for the final set, but form was breaking, legs were aching so it was time to rack it. Glute Bridges - I have noticed that since I have started doing glute and ham work, I have had virtually no back pain. These are a variation of the Hip Thrusters I have been doing, only with shoulders on the floor. I do not hyperextend the back as much this way, though it is harder to set the weights. BHNP - Was easier than I thought it would be. Felt great Inclines - needless to say, my triceps were pretty much fried, this enabled me to use more pec so while the weight was lighter, the work was not. Smith Pendlays - a nice way to finish the day. In and out in an hour, even with interruptions.

Squats - Had DOMS all weekend from my squats on Friday, this was more to work out the kinks than anything else. Bench - Get'r done sets. Got'r done Pendlays - See Bench above

McCallum Hybrid Training ![]() ![]() NOTES Slept in, body telling me I need more sleep. It felt good. Rack Deads - These felt good. The 275 went up easy. I am sticking with my plan and did not push the 295 past 3 reps. Next week I go for 5. Very pleased. Incline Bench - Felt easy too. Must have been the extra carbs last night. Leg Press/ Leg Curls superset - Starting to get the feel of the vertical leg press. Will add weight next week. Glass Style OHP - These are plate weight only. Added 5 lbs, again these felt good. Overall just a little under 60 minutes from warm ups to completion. Good day in the Dog House despite the rain.

![]() ![]() NOTES Good day,felt a bit rushed but I made sure I got everything in. Squats - Last heavy set added 5 lbs, last set added 2 reps. Legs were on fire, hated racking it Glute Bridge - will move back to the Hip Thruster next week, as it is easier to use weight. The Glute bridge makes getting the weight up correctly. BHNP - added 5 lbs to final heavy set. A new PR. There were 10 pumpsets to follow, my ipad just cuts them off when trying to take the picture of the logger app Incline Bench - Nothing new to report Smith Pendlay - added 5 lbs Medial delt insertion is acting up today. Glad to have the weekend to rest up.

Not too concerned with how these feel, but how I feel. It has been about a year since I was flirting with a personal best on squats. The High rep set is the killer, but, as they say... "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."
