Cycle 5 Week 2 OHP
Pre-stuff 2 Scoops of con-cret 3 L-Arginine Shoulder warmup Warmup lifts 5 x 65 5 x 75 5 x 95 Working Lifts NOTES Today started off on a sour note. Some time in the wee hours of the night the fire alarm starts chirping, battery low. About 4:15 I try to reach and pull the battery. Just out of reach. I head downstairs to find the step stool. Pull the battery only to discover that since it is connected to the larger security system, it will continue chirping. Try to sleep through it, no go. So up again around 4:30 to try to find a battery. Found battery and changed it out. We slightly over slept, putting us about 15 minutes behind our morning schedule. Wife, with her sub zero body fat, wants to wear her thermals, as she has bus duty and it is in the 20's this am.( For those of you up North, that is the Beach equivalent of sub zero temps). I had washed them last night, thinking ahead. I go the the dryer and start to pull them out only to discover everything is still wet. Our dryer had bit the dust. Well, on the upside, I get to put into operation the Dave Ramsey emergency fund. It was actually quite comforting knowing that I already had the cash to pay for a new dryer. It will be here tomorrow. I went in the Dog House around 9 am. I didn't do any arm work as I had a ton to do this morning. Other than that, today felt good. I am liking this cycle, feeling stronger every day.

The fire alarm is always low on batteries when trying to sleep, trust me happened here about 2 or 3 times.
Besides that good job today, always good to feel stronger.

5/3/1 Cycle 5 Week 2 Deads - BBB 3 month Challenge
My training partner for the day ![]() Pre-stuf Girl Scout Carbs - 2 Samoas 2 scoops of Concret 3 L-Arginine 3 minutes on bike warmup DL's 5 x 135 5 x 170 3 x 205 The mess that made up 307.5 ![]() NOTES Deads were both good and bad. My first goal was to reach the point of being able to consistently pulll over 300 for reps. I have reached that goal. Today's just didn't feel right. I can't place my finger on what it was, just that "something ain't right" feeling, so I didn't push it past the 3 I needed today. Added 2.5 lbs to the squats. Felt good. I took it nice and easy going as deep as I could on every squat, well past ||. Looking forward to Friday.

Good call, best thing to do on those type of days is to save a little to fight another day. Also great job on the Deads!

Breakfast I have found a new fun breakfast. I was craving pancakes yesterday so I mixed up some Almond/Flax/Protein pancakes. Tweaked the recipe today, cut a TBS of Almond Meal and added a TBS of Flax Meal. 357 cals 9 g Carbs 18 g fat 38 g of Protein and boy was it yummy.
