10/14/2009: Back

Workout Time: 45 minutes

Lost steam fast today. Back on a cutting diet, that might be why. Still, I felt my back getting hammered. Tried DB Rows instead of deadlifts today, just for a change. Found out why I like deadlifts so much

DB Rows just take too much time...all that switching arms stuff drives me bonkers.

10/19/2009: Chest and Triceps

Workout Time: 42 minutes

Workout Grade: A-

Felt a little weak. Energy wasn't too bad, just not as strong as I thought I would be. All in all, a fast-paced and intense workout. Triceps feel very tight.

No messing around...21 brutal sets in 42 minutes, including warmups. Not in the dungeon to play.

Workout Time: 39 minutes

I wanted to do 6 sets of 6 reps, but felt pretty fried after 4, so I did extensions and wrapped it up. It's been a while since I did a lot of reps with heavier weight. I'll come around. I can hardly walk right now, as it is.

I had tossed around the idea of front squats or a 20 rep set as finishers...maybe next time.
